"Saldo" refers to "balance on hand" or "from here and there", which is a great way to describe this wine. That is because the grapes for Saldo come from five different counties and more than 17 great vineyards. The 2008 Saldo is a perfect blend of zinfandel with a touch of syrah and petite syrah.
